YOUTH

The CNCAC supports the idea that new immigrant youth and their peers have great creative energy. Given the chance, and a sense of ownership, they can and will be the engines of growth in Canada’s cultural and arts industries, whether it be in television, film, advertising, journalism, theatre, writing, or the visual arts. We especially want to increase opportunities for marginalized immigrant and refugee youth so that they can experience and contribute to their cultural background and to Canada.

Community support:

The CNCAC promotes and cooperates with youth, new immigrant communities, and youth organizations wherever possible, including youth and groups in rural and remote regions of Canada.

New immigrants will find that in every urban centre and for rural peoples across Canada there will be great support to youth and their communities.

The CNCAC will support youth and their communities to seek funding for their arts and culture projects, and we will also connect them to other organizations.
