Gallery 101 presents Finding Ana, a solo exhibition by Elise Rasmussen from Jan. 4 to Feb. 8. The show investigates the complexities of Ana Mendieta’s personal and professional life. Website

Club Saw presents Attention People with Body Parts, a multimedia project. People were asked to submit a letter in any form to some part of their body. The results included both lighthearted quips to donated plasma, and heartbreaking pleas, like one addressed to a uterus after three failed pregnancies. 67 Nicholas Street. Suggested donation: $5. Website

Library Friends Mini-Mammoth Used Book Sale at the James Bartleman Archives  and Library Materials Centre,100 Tallwood Drive, Ottawa. The Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA) will hold its Mini-Mammoth used book sale to raise money for the Ottawa Public Library! 1-10 books for $1, for all ages and interests! Polytectures, a sound walk that explores the relationship between music and architecture presented in collaboration with theBytown Museum. Please read before doing the walk. Polytectures is an hour long narrated soundwalk by Antoine Bédard (Montag) through Ottawa that explores the relationship between music and architecture. 10 local composers and musical groups translate key buildings on the walk into new pieces of music that together create a sonic portrait of the core of the capital. Downloadwebsite
